Here are some things that happened to us in May and June that we thought we'd pass along. Here's Cal riding the giraffe thing that all of our kids have scooted around on (notice his wisp of a curl in the back—we miss those curls!):

In early June we hiked to Stewart Falls with all of the kids and Eric and Lindsie:

These three ran ahead and were the first to arrive:

On Memorial Day, we visited gravesites for Mark's grandparents in Beaver Dam and Logan with Mark's parents:

We went on a short stroll/hike in Logan Canyon with the Carter family on our way back through Logan:

Then we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Lewis's house for a socially distanced dinner outdoors:

And going in and out of the car:

Mark's coworkers missed seeing each other in person when they all started working from home, so they took some short, early morning hikes to reconnect occasionally:

And Cal got to come! He slept almost the entire time:

Another early morning hike Mark took with his coworkers. This time in Tooele's Middle Canyon up to Butterfield Peak:

Impromptu snowball fight. Kyle (in the middle) played D1 baseball, so you gotta watch out for that arm:

View from the ridge (almost to the peak). The tall one in the center is Lowe peak and the one tucked in the back is Flat Top (tallest in the Oquirrhs):

A petroglyph we hiked to in the North end of the Stansbury Mountains:

For Mark's birthday we started the day with a bike ride (notice that everyone is wearing blue):

Mark and Max took a camping trip up Tooele's Settlement Canyon for Father's Day (the girls did their brunch thing on Mother's Day):

The endless canister of Pringles was one of Max's favorite things about the camping trip, I'm sure you can tell:

Our campsite from across the ravine:

Our fire struggled until a neighboring camper gave us a pizza box which got things burning well enough that we finally got to roast some marshmallows:

Apple fritters in the morning:

Starting an early Saturday morning hike up in Little Cottonwood Canyon by Snowbird:

That's the tramline for the big Snowbird tram:

One of the two peaks that were my destination:

The view back the way I came (Snowbird Tram station in the center):

The two peaks (sometimes called the American Fork Twin Peaks) on the left and the right. I went to the one on the right first, then the one on the left:
